The Life List - Part I

Life. It’s one of the most, if not the most, significant and fragile phenomena that any of us will ever encounter. Yet it is also one of the most disregarded. Time and time again, we see people wasting their lives, living but not really living. No matter where we look, there are people merely going through the motions. They live life on autopilot, simply doing what they have to do each day to ensure that they’ll be here tomorrow. But the rest of the time? It’s spent essentially just taking up space. Not making progress. Not really achieving anything. Not truly living. Just existing. It’s sad to see. There are hamsters with more drive than this.

In order to help some of these lost individuals, I’ve taken the liberty of compiling a life list with the help of some friends. I call it a life list because the popular term ‘bucket list’ is A) overused and B) doesn’t apply. This isn’t a list of things to do before you die; this is a list of things to do to help you live. I wholeheartedly believe that each and every person should find as much enjoyment in life as possible and live their life to the fullest. I am here to help with that. A popular phrase convinces us that “life is short”. I respectfully disagree. Life isn’t short; it just moves really, really fast. It’s our job to squeeze the most out of it before our individual clocks stop.
Within the life list, there are a number of people, products, and places mentioned. All of these items come strictly from my personal experiences, thoughts, or suggestions from my friends. I have not been paid for any endorsements (although I would really, really like to be) nor have I been influenced by any movies, reality shows, or websites. This list is one hundred percent unique and original.
